With less than three months to my Polar sailing expedition to Antarctica and the Scotia Arc, I am embarking into one of my last life-drawing sessions before I’m in the wild ocean for 50 days without communication (that means, until next January!)
As I previously did with the iconic Gustav Klimt, this time I’m playing a homage to the prolific draughtsman that seems to be the king in the recent history of figurative work: the ever expressive Egon Schiele.
His vitality-full lines created characters that have accompanied (and influenced) much of our collective imagination and understanding regarding the treatment of a human body.
I have selected a combination of his more detailed colourful works merged with a few other emotive sketches that particularly intrigue me.
This session will last 2 hours, with a few probable extra minutes, with poses ranging from 5 to 25 min.
Prior to the event, signed up artists will receive a folder with the references of the pieces I’ll be portraying and their order in the session, so they can arrange their materials accordingly.
Limited spots.
As usual, there’ll be a maximum capacity and it may, as did last time with Klimt, be full by the day before the event, so if it’s in you interest to attend, I strongly suggest you reserve your spot ASAP.
